This program is perfect for invidividuals who plan to work at area swimming pools, town recreation programs, or summer camps. The camp will be held on the campus of Hobart & William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY.

For individuals looking for a great summer job or challenging career as a safety team professional, the best place to start is with comprehensive training from the American Red Cross. We offer a range of programs to teach the skills and knowledge participants need to join or lead a lifeguard team. In addition, our instructor training programs are unparalleled in the industry, providing an additional level of service to members of the lifeguard community.

You are welcome to enroll if you:
- Are in sound physical condition and capable of an outdoor education program;
- Can meet prerequisites listed for your course;
- For certain classes you must meet the following age requirements by May 29:
        - Lifeguarding (LG), age 15;
        - Water safety instructor (WSI), age 16;
        - Lifeguard instructor (LGI), age 17.

All class fees must accompany registration forms and are due by May 15. See registration form for complete details.

Swim Training for Life, $25

Tuesday, May 17 7-8:30pm, Friday, May 20 7-8:30pm, or Saturday, May 21 10-11:30am.

Responding to Emergencies First Aid (RTE), $350

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, $100

Saturday, May 28, 9 a.m.

CPR for the Professional Rescuer Recertification, $50

Saturday, May 28, 3 p.m.

Lifeguard/Waterfront Recertification, $150
