Scrubby Bear Scubby Bear teaches children ages 4 to 7 years old how germs are spread, how to prevent the spread of disease, and how to properly wash hands with fun activities and Scubby Bear himself!
First Aid for Little People First Aid for Little People is a pre-cursor to BAT, with age-appropriate activities for ages 5 to 8 year-olds.
First Aid for Children Today (FACT) The F.A.C.T. Critter Clan Family of multicultural animal characters leads children on a path of discovery. Kids ages 5-8 learn about ways to be aware of dangers, how to prevent them, and how to respond to them if necessary.
Basic Aid Training (BAT) This course introduces 8 to 10 year-olds to the emergency action steps: Check, Call, Care along with basic first aid procedures. An activity book with puzzles and games teaches children how to prevent injuries and what to do in an emergency.
When I’m In Charge Designed for youth ages 8 to 11, this course prepares children to respond safely to a variety of situations when direct parent supervision is unavailable. Participants will: • Role play answering phone and door situations • Discuss gun and Internet safety • Discuss personal safety and first aid situations
Masters of Disaster The award-winning Masters of Disaster disaster preparedness curriculum teaches children K-8 how to prevent, prepare for and respond to disasters and other emergencies. The goal is to empower youth with the confidence and knowledge to prepare for disasters and help create a culture of preparedness. The lessons are non-threatening, age appropriate and adhere to national education standards.
Be Red Cross Ready Being prepared helps you and your family minimize the impact of a disaster such as a flood or an emergency such as a broken leg. This program will teach people of all ages how to Get a Kit, Make a Plan, and Be Informed.
